Carolina Mejia was born in Honduras and moved to the United States at age 11. Her father is a medical doctor and her mother is a non-profit advocate and educator. They were strong role models demonstrating the importance of helping others and working to make the community stronger. She moved to Olympia in 2013 to be near them. Carolina has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Pre-Law. She worked with Judges and other Thurston County employees and departments as a Judicial Assistant with Thurston County Superior Court prior to being elected as Thurston County’s newest County Commissioner!
