Tricia Callahan is the Senior Research Education & Information Officer for Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. Prior to that, Tricia was the Director of Proposal Development at Miami University in Oxford, OH, where she oversaw all sponsored research-related training activities for pre- and post-award. In addition to providing training and education related to sponsored research, Tricia was responsible for proposal preparation, budget development, proposal submission, award negotiation, and subaward preparation and oversight.Tricia received her B.A. in Psychology from Miami University and her M.A. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Louisville, where she taught as an adjunct instructor in the Department of Psychology and in the Kent School of Social Work. It was at the University of Louisville where she began her career in research administration in 1999. Since that time, Tricia has been an active member of the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) and participated in the NCURA Leadership Development Institute (LDI) and Executive Leadership Program (ELP).Currently Tricia serves as a traveling workshop faculty for NCURA’s Fundamentals and Global Fundamentals. She became a Certified Research Administrator (CRA) in 2015 and a certified professional trainer in 2017.
