Ann Pollack has spent much of her career at UCLA where she is Associate Vice Chancellor – Research and serves as director of the Office of Research Policy and Compliance (RPC). She supports the Vice Chancellor for Research in his role as Research Integrity Officer. Under her direction, RPC convenes and supports the faculty Conflict of Interest Review Committee and handles a variety of other matters including responding to allegations of research misconduct, administration of the UCLA export control compliance program, and advising the campus on issues related to cannabis-related research, and foreign engagement.
A graduate of Douglass College (Rutgers University), she holds Master’s degrees from the University of Michigan, and from Simmons College. She also completed the Executive Program in Academic Healthcare Management at the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management. She serves as UCLA’s administrative representative to the Council on Governmental Relations (COGR), and is a member of the Association for Research Integrity Officers (ARIO), the Forum on Conflict of Interest in Academe (FCOI) of the American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC), and the National Council of Research Administrators (NCURA). In 2020, she received the UCLA Staff Distinguished Career Award.
