John Tawfik, Accelerated Care Plus

John Tawfik earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rutgers University in 2004. John has practice experience in Acute Care working with wide range patient populations and specialty areas including neurological, orthopedic, oncology, cardiac and emergency medicine. He also has experience in post-acute care settings including skilled nursing facilities. In his 14-year tenure with ACP, Dr. Tawfik gained vast clinical education experience working with multidisciplinary rehab clinicians (PT/OT/SLP) to develop and implement effective post-acute care clinical programs. John is a frequent participant of national APTA conferences to keep abreast of current practice patterns and has presented at the 2016 Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) on Review of Evidence for Biophysical Agents. Professional advocacy is an area of great interest for John where he served as a delegate to APTA House of Delegates and PA Chapter Treasurer. John currently serves as the Senior Manager of Clinical Services with ACP.
