Nikolas Gardner is Professor of Strategy at the UAE National Defense College in Abu Dhabi. He has taught previously at the United States Air Force Air War College and the Royal Military College of Canada. His research focuses on the First World War, defense sales in the Middle East, and the contemporary application of classical strategic theory.
