The Forgotten Minority: A Longitudinal Study of the Prosecution of Baha’is in Post-Revolutionary Iran

This study is the first to use data provided by the Archives of Baha’i Prosecution in Iran. Results show that Baha’i prosecution is heavily concentrated in urban areas. Baha’is residing in rural communities are more likely to be targets of violence as communities. Iranian Baha’is living in urban areas, however, are more likely to have their civic rights violated as individuals.
