From rebels to government: Islamist movements in power - The case of Houthis in Yemen
After 10 years of fighting the central government over issues of marginalization, the Houthi rebels of Yemen were finally able to capture the state and become the new authority. This paper investigates the political behavior of Houthis as a governing authority and the extent their political discourse as a revolutionary movement matches their governance patterns.
