Neal Coates is a professor and chair of the Department of Political Science & Criminal Justice at Abilene Christian University, where he has taught since 1999. He holds a J.D. from the University of Kansas and a M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Connecticut.

 

Is Iran’s Regime Changing? A Content Analysis of Open Source Media 2018-2020

 

This content analysis uses a multi-year database of daily media from and about Iran’s government to evaluate whether it, in the words of the current Administration, is acting as a “normal” country, or in the words of Henry Kissinger, if Iran has decided to be a “nation or a cause.”
