I’m currently an Associate Professor in the Political Science Department at Rutgers University – Camden. My research program focuses on geopolitics and strategy, with the aim of contributing to international relations, security studies and policy literature. Publications and other relevant works focus on US – China relations, strategic interaction and energy policy.
Saudi Arabia’s Growing Economic, Financial, and Geopolitical Troubles
This paper examines Saudi Arabia’s economic, financial and geopolitical issues since the beginning of the 2014 North American shale oil price war, through the current Covid pandemic. The paper will explain how Saudi Arabia’s economic situation has been compounded through poor policy choices, price wars and exogenous events.
