Shukriya Bradost is a Ph.D. student at Virginia Tech University. Her research spans international security and foreign policy focusing on security and stability in the Middle East. She wrote a chapter for a book titled, “State and Democracy” about the nation-state and democracy that was published by Rudaw Research Center in 2017. Her articles about the Middle East have appeared in media outlets.
