US policymaking on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, 1967-present: The shift from external (Middle Eastern) events to domestic US politics

The paper discusses the US policy on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict since 1967. Trump’s policy is driven by domestic politics like evangelical growing influence on GOP and his administration, whereas in the past policy responded to Middle East dynamics. This also reflects Israel becoming a partisan issue in the US.
