Alhassan Abdul Rahman is currently a second year graduate student at the Ohio State University, majoring African History and minoring Islamic History and Women and Gender History.

 

Muslim Female Enrollment in ‘Integrated Muslim Education’ in Contemporary Ghana

 

This paper analyzes the history of Ghana’s Islamic Education Unit, with a specific focus on its impact on female Muslim education. The Unit facilitated Muslim girls education as a result of the massive success of feminists activism in the 80s.
