Leyla Tiglay

Leyla is a PhD student in the Department of History at Ohio State University. She holds a BA from Istanbul University and completed her MA in Political Science at Boston University. Her dissertation explores French nuclear policy from 1940s to 1965.

American Military Bases Question and Decolonization in Morocco (1950-1962)

This paper gives a broader view of the U.S. military engagement in Morocco in the 1950s. This history of the U.S. military bases in Morocco sheds light on the effects of decolonization on multiple actors.
