Lyn Brodie (MBA, FAICD)
Lyn is the CEO of Optometry Australia, the national peak body representing over 80% of optometrists. Her career that has spanned the corporate and not-for-profit sectors, as well as time as a Ministerial Advisor, in the Australian Federal Government. Lyn was the CEO of The Lowitja Institute, the only national health research organisation with a sole focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Previously held positions include CEO for the Gandel Charitable Trust, one of Australia’s largest philanthropic foundations. Lyn holds a Master of Business Administration and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. A strong interest in futures strategy and measuring the impact of not-for-profits, Lyn has completed further studies on these topics at Mt Eliza Business School and Harvard Business School.
