Since 2005, Kristin has worked in cooperation with optometrists and ophthalmologists. Her early experience in the eye care industry began while earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from Oakland University in Michigan, USA. She also completed coursework at the Eye Research Institute and was awarded certification as an ophthalmic assistant. In 2012, Kristin moved to Australia. She worked for a specialty contact lens company as a technical consultant prior to graduating with a Bachelor of Medical Science (Vision Science), Master of Optometry from Flinders University. She is currently employed at Flinders University as an Associate Lecturer. Kristin also works as a contact lens practitioner at the medical contact lens unit at Flinders Medical Centre.
