Karla has over 25+ years in nursing experience and 12+ years working in Value Analysis in the enterprise shared services department for Centura Health in Denver Colorado as a system director of clinical resource operations directing and developing a mature value analytics program. 20% of her time was dedicated to partnering on High Reliability Organization (HRO) patient safety sprints, driving increased patient safety and associate satisfaction. She has recently completed a master’s degree in healthcare administration with a minor in project management and in addition has a certification in value analytics from the Association of Healthcare Value Analysis Professionals (AHVAP). Most recently she has moved into independent clinical healthcare project management consulting and started her own consulting company. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Golden Key International Honor Society, ACHE, AVHAP and AHRMM. |
