Robin Lane has been a healthcare professional for more than 30 years. Robin earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Waynesburg University. In her current position as Director of Value Management and Analysis, Robin manages the value analysis program for the UPMC Health System, a fully integrated delivery network of 40 academic, community and specialty hospitals; 89,000 staff members; 4,900 employed physicians; and an array of rehab, retirement and long term care facilities. Using evidence as the basis for decision making, UPMC's value analysis program manages the evaluation and selection process for clinical products, clinical capital and new technology. Robin also oversees recall management, product back orders and substitutions, and product quality complaints
