Michael Overcash, PhD

Dr. Overcash has developed the mapping technology for the Environmental Genome with application in national security, public health of chronic disease, and innovation in manufacturing.  The Environmental Genome map is one of the largest chemical life cycle databases.  He received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in Chemical Engineering.  He has served as the Sam Bloomfield Chair in Sustainable Engineered Systems at Wichita State University during which he and Professor Twomey worked with the VA in Wichita on environmental improvements in radiology.
