Morgaine Witriol is the founder of the Native Roots School of Ancestral Folk and Herbal medicine in Taos, NM. She is a clinical herbalist, wildcrafter, gardener, and medicine maker. She has a private practice in herbalism and owns an herbal product line. Morgaine studied with a Mayan medicine man for 1.5 years in Belize and, after his passing, attended several herbalism schools. She teaches on reclaiming one's own ancestral traditions, Jewish Folk Medicine, and Herbalism at Native Roots.
