A founding member of Black Cross Health Collective, Krista continues to integrate her foundations in herbal medicine, radical organizing, and sustainable agriculture in the public health arena. She founded Hawai'i Islands First Foods Initiative, co-leads Kealaola Institute and Organic Farm, and leads integrative maternal and infant health services at Family Support Hawai'i. She founded Common Roots School of Herbal Medicine in Oregon and co-created the Healing Roots Curriculum with Elise Krohn.
