Wind Goodfriend

Wind Goodfriend has been teaching psychology at Buena Vista University, a small midwestern liberal arts school, for 14 years. She has won the Faculty of the Year award three times. She also received the Wythe Award for Excellence in Teaching, one of the largest teaching awards in the country. Wind has authored three textbooks: Social Psychology, Case Studies in Social Psychology, and Intimate Relationships. Her primary research areas are gender and sexual prejudice, prevention of relationship violence, and psychology in popular culture. She received her master’s and PhD in social psychology from Purdue University.
