Dr. Smith earned his MD at the East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine. He completed Diagnostic Radiology residency training at Duke University Medical Center. He completed fellowships in Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology at the University of Minnesota and Neurointerventional Radiology at the University of California, San Francisco. He currently serves as the Director for Neurovascular Interventional Radiology.
