Dr. Nelson earned his MD and completed residency training at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He completed his Abdominal Imaging fellowship at Emory University Hospital. Dr. Nelson is the Reed & Martha Rice Distinguished Professor of Radiology and serves as Vice Chair for Research.
