Emily Charles has had more than 20 years’ experience working with children with medically complex needs as a registered nurse in home health and care management, as well as in the hospital setting. She then went on to complete a Master of Science Degree in Nursing, FNP with Texas Woman's University in 2013. Later she obtained her post master certification, acute care pediatric nurse practitioner with Texas Tech University in 2016. Currently, Emily continues to serve medically complex children and their families while working at the complex care clinic at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas.
