
Megan Ward is Director of Development for the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins. In this role, she works closely with senior and junior faculty from Kimmel’s neuro-oncology, head and neck, breast, sarcoma, and leukemia programs. Within these groups, she focuses on raising major gifts through grateful patients to support specific research initiatives and patient care programs. Ms. Ward joined the Kimmel Cancer Center in 2011 as Associate Director of Development, and was subsequently promoted to Senior Associate Director of Development in 2015, and Director of Development in 2017. Prior to coming to Johns Hopkins, Megan served as Director of Development for a military hospital foundation in Washington, D.C., and prior to that, she held a development position at Medstar’s Washington Hospital Center Foundation in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Ward obtained a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and also holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Management from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
