
Kristin Waller-Donovan is the Executive Director of Development – Cancer at UC San Diego, having assumed the role in January 2021. Kristin has more than fifteen years of advancement experience from small non-profit organizations to large nationally ranked academic health systems. A native of Cooperstown, New York, Kristin currently works with the Moores Cancer Center leadership on fundraising strategy. Previously Kristin served as a Major Gifts Officer at the Montefiore Health System and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, NY. Her philanthropic focus has ranged from; principal and major gifts, academic medical alumni philanthropy, board and volunteer relations and strategic projects. She holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Marist and a Bachelors Degree from Hartwick College. In addition, Kristin has been involved as a mentee in the NACCDO mentorship program and currently serves as co-chair of the Board Relations Affinity Group.
