Christine joined The University of Kansas Cancer Center as director of public relations and communications in 2016 with over 20 years of health care communications, public relations and non-profit leadership experience. Over her career, Ms. Wilson has served as director of development for The University of Kansas Cancer Center, senior vice president with Fleishman-Hillard and president and CEO of The Mid-America Coalition on Health Care. Currently, Ms. Wilson oversees internal and external communications, social media, Website and community engagement for KU Cancer Center. Ms. Wilson graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Missouri and received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She has served on numerous boards over her career, including Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri, Core Legal Advocates, Turning Point: Center for Hope and Healing and Medical Missions Foundation. She is a recipient of Ingram’s Magazine’s “40 Under 40” and a graduate of the Kansas City Civic Council’s Kansas City Tomorrow Leadership program.
