Sona Thakkar is a Deputy Associate Director in the Office of Public Affairs in NCI’s Office of Communications and Public Liaison. Sona has worked in the cancer health communications and education field for more than 23 years. She currently manages many of NCI’s enterprise initiative rollouts, including heading up the implementation for this 50th anniversary commemoration of the National Cancer Act.
