Matthew Swaback, M.H.A., is a Senior Manager of Government Affairs for Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health (“Jefferson”), and has been with the organization since 2015. Matt is responsible, in part, for driving Jefferson’s federal appropriations process, producing economic impact reports, and advocating on the local, state and federal levels. In conjunction with the Chief of Staff to the President and CEO at Jefferson, Matt also leads special projects for the President’s Office. Additionally, Matt is a member of the Association of American Cancer Institutes’ Government Relations Steering Committee. Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a master’s degree in health administration from the University of Scranton. He resides in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
