Jerry Sinning, MPA is Director of Philanthropic Growth at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. In this role, he focuses on expanding an innovative patient philanthropy program that he helped build from the ground up over the last six years. Jerry started at CU Anschutz in 2011 and has worked in roles related to major gifts, alumni engagement, third party events and annual giving during his time with CU Anschutz. Prior to joining CU, he worked with nonprofits based in Colorado with missions focused on international development, K-12 education and pediatric healthcare. Jerry is a Past President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Colorado Chapter and has been on the chapter’s board since 2016. He served on the benchmarking committee for the National Association of Cancer Center Development Officers (NACCDO) from 2011 to 2018. Jerry received a BA in Political Science from CU Boulder and an MPA with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from CU Denver.
