Emily is a professional fundraiser and event manager who serves as the Director of Events for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center/James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. Prior to starting her role at Ohio State in 2018, she served as a regional development and event specialist for 9 years in Texas, Oklahoma and Ohio for ALSAC, which is the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Emily is skilled in building long-lasting relationships with donors, recruiting and managing volunteer committees to secure hundreds of thousands of dollars in sponsorship and event ticket sales, and executing large-scale events. Emily holds a BS with a concentration in journalism from the University of Oklahoma Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Emily enjoys spending her free time exploring Ohio state parks with her husband, Michael, and their mini-goldendoodle Kozak.
