
Erin McKenna is the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Planned Giving at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute where she oversees a comprehensive Planned Giving program and team of nine. Erin has worked in the development field for over eighteen years. She began her career with a brief stint in event management before joining Dana-Farber as an Assistant on the Annual Giving team. She then accepted a Development Officer position at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA). She worked at the MFA for six years managing the MFA’s young donor group and after the completion of the Museum’s $500M Building the New MFA Campaign, Erin made a switch and transitioned into a Leadership Gift Officer role on the Planned Giving team where she helped manage their Planned Giving program and a portfolio of planned giving and major gift prospects. In 2010, Erin returned to her roots at Dana-Farber and held Associate Director and Director roles on their Planned Giving team before becoming the AVP in 2016.
Erin grew up in the Boston area, graduated from The Catholic University of America with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in Philosophy. She is a NACCDO Board member and member of the Planned Giving Group of New England. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and currently lives in Milton, MA with her husband, Eric, and two young children, Harrison (8) and Charlotte (5).
