Britten King

Britten King is a Senior Director of Development at the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and joined as they achieved their NCI designation in July 2019. An accomplished fundraising leader with more than 17 years of experience, she spent the previous 7 years at Cleveland Clinic Florida expanding their grateful patient and major giving programs for patient care, medical education and research. Prior to that she worked at the University of Hawai’i Foundation leading efforts in their first capital campaign. Britten also served as a major gifts officer for several years with the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health when they received a transformational gift to rename the school. Other professional experience includes major gift roles at Fordham University and Georgetown University Medical Center. Britten grew up in Hawaii and has an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is passionate about healthcare philanthropy and the meaningful impact grateful individuals have on the future of medicine and the lives of patients. Britten and her husband have three children and live in Miami, Florida.
