Loren Fishbein

Loren Fishbein joined City of Hope in the spring of 2020 as Director of Development for City of Hope’s Music, Film, and Entertainment Industry group and promoted to Senior Director less than a year later. Loren brings with him 20+ years of expertise in corporate philanthropy, large-scale fundraising event production, and sales. In his role at City of Hope, Loren works with senior executives from across the music industry to raise critical funds for City of Hope’s mission to treat, and ultimately cure, cancer, diabetes, HIV, and other life-threatening diseases. Prior to City of Hope, Loren enjoyed a successful 14 year run with the charitable arms of the Recording Academy, aka the GRAMMYs. During his tenure with the GRAMMY charities, Loren was an integral part of all corporate and event fundraising efforts for the GRAMMY Foundation, MusiCares, and the GRAMMY Museum. He has negotiated and executed partnerships with major organizations including Audi, Royal Caribbean, Univision, Blue Shield, and many more. His event production credits include a range of high-profile events, such as the GRAMMY Museum’s Annual Gala and leading the GRAMMY Week Entertainment Law Initiative Luncheon from 2007 to 2017, raising more during this time than any time in the event's 20+ year history. He has managed/produced fundraising events and activations featuring notable artists including Dierks Bentley, will.i.am, Graham Nash, Alison Krauss, and Ice Cube, to name a few. A native of New York, Loren received his Bachelor of Music from Manhattan School of Music in 1997.
