In her eight year career at UW Carbone, Murphy has assisted community members in creating impactful peer-to-peer digital fundraising and event campaigns. Featured on the Classy Podcast Season 5: Inside Fundraising episode where she talked more in-depth about digital philanthropy, Murphy has worked with high school students and UW Carbone board members alike to help them exceed their monetary fundraising goals. She is the lead strategist for UW Carbone’s signature event, UW Carbone’s Race for Research 5K Run/Walk, where she works closely with event sponsor and producer American Family Insurance Championship to ensure the event remains UW Carbone’s largest peer-to-peer fundraising event.
