Science to Business Network (S2BN) is a national, non-profit organization that aims to bridge the gap between science and business. Specifically, we focus on organizing outreach, education, and networking opportunities for STEM graduate students to complement their academic training. Students obtain professional training with transferable skills to gain a competitive edge in both the academic and business job markets. Nine chapters currently exist across Canada, including the London Chapter, which was founded in 2019. This chapter is led by a group of graduate students at Western, and regularly hold professional development and networking initiatives with a focus on careers outside of academia.
