Dr. Kavita Malhotra

Dr. Kavita Malhotra has been in private practice in Vienna, Virginia since 2001. Prior to establishing her behavioral optometry practice in the Washington DC metro area, she served on the faculty of SUNY College of Optometry and in the Pediatrics and the Binocular Vision Department of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. Kavita graduated from SUNY College of Optometry, where she also completed her residency in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation. In her practice Kavita treats a wide variety of patients from infants to adults with a range of problems including strabismus, amblyopia, learning related vision problems, stroke and traumatic brain injury. She enjoys the analytical and creative aspect of vision therapy, adapting and developing therapy procedures to meet her patient’s needs. Today she is going to discuss her approach to treating a patient with diplopia, with some practical ideas we can use in our practice.
