Brendan Odigwe is a PhD Candidate in the department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of South Carolina in Columbia SC. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering (summa cum laude) from Covenant University in Nigeria, earned a master’s degree in Software Engineering from the University of South Carolina and is now pursuing his doctorate in Computer Science with his research Focus in Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics. He is actively working to leverage the capabilities of Machine Learning and its applications towards public health interventions and help to push healthcare practices towards more personalized medicine.
