Rebecca Jacobs, Esq., SHRM-SCP is currently the Director of Member Professional Support and Development for Employers Resource Association. She oversees the Compliance group and the functioning of the popular hotline service. Prior to taking this role, Rebecca was an HR Compliance and Learning Consultant with ERA and conducted numerous training sessions, both remote and in-person, on topics such as FMLA, harassment prevention, diversity and inclusion, and ensuring confidentiality of medical information. Rebecca also is an adjunct lecturer for Fisher College of Business at the Ohio State University and teaches employment law to undergraduate and graduate students seeking their degrees in human resources. Prior to joining ERA, Rebecca was an employment law attorney who defended clients in both state and federal courts. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1997.
