
Caroline Beeman is a Director in the MAXIMUS Higher Education Practice. Caroline possesses over 20 years of experience in the university costing and sponsored agreements areas. Caroline has extensive expertise in Facilities & Administrative Cost Proposals and Analysis, Negotiations with HHS-CAS and ONR, Space Functionalization surveys, Service/Recharge Centers, DS-2 preparation and Fringe Benefit proposal preparation. She previously worked at the University of Virginia (UVA) where she was the Director of Cost Analysis for 13 years. Her experience and accomplishments at UVA included increasing the F&A rate by 10 points, conducting successful space training and surveys, consulting and providing guidance on costing issues and compliance to executive- through department-level management, and managing and overseeing the review of service center rates. She specializes in maximizing the F&A rate through employment of long range strategies. Ms. Beeman has an M.S. in Management of Information Systems from the University of Virginia and B.A. from the College of Business and Economics at Washington State University. She is a Certified Research Administrator, CRA, and has presented at NCURA, SRA, SACUBO, FRA, NACCA, NECA, and the ACC Fiscal Officers’ Meeting.
