Marchon is the Director of Sponsored Programs Accounting and Compliance for the University of Maryland College Park. He is currently responsible for the sponsored program accounting, compliance, and cost accounting areas. Marchon received his Masters in Business Administration from Howard University, and he is the Society of Research Administrators International Northeast Section President-Elect and a member of COGR, FDP, and NCURA. His career spans over 19 years, with expertise in post-award administration, financial and regulatory issues, and compliance. He has worked with research universities, non-profit institutions, and with a federal defense contractor. His focus and experience have been in leading teams in various situations, managing large portfolios, significant projects related to compliance and costing.
