Dr. Haeri has extensive experience in water resources and environmental consulting with an emphasis on groundwater modeling and quantitative hydrogeology. Hanieh has a M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering. Focus of her recent work is in conceptual model development, groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling, model calibration, uncertainty assessment, and decision support. She has extensive expertise in fluid flow and contaminant transport modeling using MODFLOW, Mt3D and custom modeling codes, she is also experienced in use of GIS tools for geo-environmental data integration , visualization and analysis. She is also experienced in programming with data science and visualization libraries in Python. Dr. Haeri uses her extensive knowledge in surface and subsurface hydrology, hydrogeology and numerical models to address clients’ challenges in specific ground- and surface-water management issues and to provide sustainable solutions to real-world problems.
