Marina Markot, PhD is Director of the Global Experience Office at Northeastern University, leading ambitious efforts in expanding education abroad through innovative programming. Marina has held leadership positions in education abroad at a variety of institutions since 1998 and served on the NAFSA Region XI team, as well as a NAFSA Academy mentor. As a former academic, Marina’s top areas of interest have been student learning outcomes and curricular integration of education abroad. She has presented at numerous international education conferences and has co-authored a number of articles.
