Sophia’s interest in international education began during a transformative experience studying feminist movements in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2017. After graduating from Oberlin College in 2018, she returned to Argentina for a Fulbright Research Grant and continued to her current position as the research and program assistant at the International Education Program at the Latin American Faculty of Social Science (FLACSO-Argentina). As of September 2020, Sophia continues to work this position remotely while earning her Master’s Degree in Gender Studies at Utrecht University, The Netherlands.
