Jean Carlo (“JC”) Brenes was born and raised in Costa Rica. He received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Kansas State University and his Master in Finance in Costa Rica. Early in his career, JC worked as a professor at the University of Costa Rica and as a financial manager for several American corporations. Since 2014, he has been the Director of the Children’s Well-Being Foundation (CWB). The exposure has led him to have a greater sensitivity for children who live in poverty and he is actively working to get more funds to expand the areas that CWB reaches across Costa Rica.
