Heilwig Jones is the Founder & Director of Kaya Responsible Travel & has been involved with service abroad since the Asian Tsunami relief effort in 2004. Passionate about conservation & international development, she presents in international education & adventure travel forums across North America and Europe on volunteering & service learning as a route to mutual learning, resume development, skills & capacity building & developing educated, compassionate global citizens. Kaya continues to lead the field in its ethical approaches to working in development and responsible approaches to travel.
