About the Panelist
Alan Prouty has been in the environmental/natural resources field for more than 30 years. He has worked in various manufacturing industries, including pulp and paper, chemicals, food processing, and mining; participated in the development of natural resource
policies and regulations at both state and federal levels; and has been involved in helping to find solutions to regional environmental and natural resource issues. He has been with the J.R. Simplot Company for 20 years where he is currently the vice president of environmental and regulatory affairs. Alan is an Idaho native and holds a BS in chemistry from Idaho State University and an MS from the University of Idaho.
