What's Changed in the Phos Patch
Phosphate mining has changed a lot over the years. Mining companies have made huge strides in safety, operations, and environmental practices. This presentation reviews a some of the advancements in mining technology that have made phosphate mining operations safer and more efficient.
About the Presenter
Chad Gentry was born and raised in Caribou County, Idaho–an area rich in phosphate. He has 30 years of mining experience, with 23 years in phosphate mining. Chad started his career in mining at the age of 18 and has held numerous positions, most recently being promoted to director of mining for the J.R. Simplot Company. Chad is very passionate about continuous improvement and innovation in all areas of mining.
