About the Panelist

Heidie Torrealday is the regional geologist and minerals program lead for the United States Forest Service Intermountain Region, providing guidance, oversight, and technical support to the minerals and geology program within the Intermountain Region. Heidie was previously the Forest Geologist and Minerals Administrator for the Sawtooth National Forest, stationed in Burley, Idaho. She has been with the United States Forest Service since 2008. Heidie holds a BS in Geology from Boise State University and an MS degree with an emphasis in Economic Geology from the Colorado School of Mines. She lives with her family in Albion, Idaho.
