Dave Kiyvyra has worked in education for 20 years, including more than 15 years with Lindamood-Bell. He has engaged in professional development in over 30 states and nine countries. Mr. Kiyvyra holds a Master's in Education Policy and Planning from The George Washington University. Among other projects, he has provided a program evaluation to the Office of the State Superintendent of Education of a $2.5 million Race to the Top grant, and designed and implemented a research study on the role of Principals in the implementation of Response to Intervention reading programs in an urban school district. Mr. Kiyvyra is a strong believer in public education and the proud father of three boys under age 10, the oldest two of whom are enrolled in DC Public Schools.
